Overview

Information Technology professionals are a critical component for any business, essential for cross-functional productivity, customer-facing systems, company security and more. With exceptional technical and analytical skills, there is no doubt that IT professionals are a major asset with a vast potential for leadership. Now, more than ever, IT professionals are being called upon not just as supporting resources, but as key architects and influencers on the company’s business strategy. It is vital that IT professionals can work effectively with other business units so they are seen as functional allies within the company. A business-oriented mindset will ensure IT professionals reach their potential and become leaders in the company’s success.

This 3-day program is a career-advancing opportunity for IT professionals to step outside their day-to-day, and learn the business skills essential to becoming a strategic partner. Using a curriculum that blends case studies, personal coaching  and dynamic exercises, our Berkeley-Haas faculty draw upon decades of experience training IT and tech leaders from the Silicon Valley. Further enhancing the program content are expert guest speakers: Peter Weis, Chief Information Officer at Matson and Patrick Heim, Chief Trust Officer at Salesforce.
